Android 18, commonly referred to as just "18," is Dr. Gero's eighteenth android creation. She appears in the game as a playable character and mentor. She is the elder twin sister of Android 17, forcibly turned into a cyborg in order to assist in the mad doctor's vendetta against Goku. However, she and her brother rebelled against Gero and killed him, awakened Android 16, and then set out to kill Goku at 16's insistence.
Their initial plans were halted by the emergence of Cell, who absorbed both her and 17 to attain perfection. During Perfect Cell's fight with Super Saiyan 2 Gohan, the bio-android expelled 18 from his body. After Cell's defeat, 18 would later marry Krillin and give birth to their daughter Marron.
