Big Bang Attack is a Ki Blast Super Attack used by Vegeta.
Properties[]
User extends their right arm forward, generating a blue ki sphere in front of them, before shooting it out. The blast starts dealing damage as soon as it appears, as well as blocks minor ki blasts.
Usage Tips[]
Due to it dealing damage during the charge up as well as it lasting long before it shoots out, it is best with a close range setup. The most common ways are to do a knockdown combo on the ground, or use it during a teleport combo to make the opponent fall into the damaging sphere, but some characters also have stuns in their strings that can be used to land it. Besides natural strings, you can also use it after a successful backhit, due to its long stun, or after supers that stun opponnent close to you, like Ki Blast Cannon. You can also use it right after a light stamina break due to the stun that attack has to deal a very damaging knockback that can be followed by another super or some ult. Despite its slow startup for actually shooting out, it is not impossible to use it out of a knockback, however it will only work with a long knockback, which can be used with more damaging skills, especially since using it this way you'll lose a fair bit of damage that the startup deals.
However since it always forces the full animation, it is one of the most punishable supers and it is thus adviced against using it against an opponent who is in position to vanish it. When fighting against it, however, you have to beware of the lingering hitbox of the blast which will remain even if user is knocked out of the skill.
