Broly (Restrained) is the third character added to the Future Saga: Chapter 1 DLC and is the 44th DLC Character added to Dragon Ball: Xenoverse 2 overall.
This version of Broly is from the Dragon Ball Z Movie Special, Broly: The Legendary Super Saiyan in base and in restraints. He later overcomes them and eventually evolves into his own unique Super Saiyan state, later on becoming the feared Legendary Super Saiyan.

- Light String (9L/12L): Performs several punches before kicking the opponent upward on the sixth input, then following up with three repeated stomps that crash the opponent onto the ground. If near the ground while the last three hits land, any three of the stomps can immediately be followed up with a light stamina break. In Super Saiyan, the stomps are extended.
- Heavy String (5H): Rushes the opponent forward on the 4th hit, disappearing then reappearing above the opponent on the last, bashing the opponent into the ground. Can also follow up with a light stamina break afterwards.
- LHH: A punch, a kick, then claps both fists together and swings the opponent away. Can follow up with Gigantic Charge (uncharged) or Eraser Bomb (no input).
- 5L3H: Starts off similar to the light string, before kicking the opponent away on the sixth hit, followed up by a forearm drag hit then finally staggers the opponent on the last. A light break can follow up as well. In Super Saiyan, the final hit is replaced with a Ki Blast toss at the opponent from afar.
- Alternating String (HLHLH): A direct punch, an upward kick, downward punch into a knockback kick proceeded by a chasing punch into another knockback. In Super Saiyan, the final hit is replaced with a Ki Blast drag, similar to his Full Powered Super Saiyan counterpart.
- Light Break: Swings an arm back then strikes.
- Heavy Break: Rises upwards, then delivers a right arm blow knocking the opponent into the ground.
- Grab: Swings the opponent around and tosses them into the air, hitting them square in the back before grabbing and tossing them away.
- Backhit: Throws right arm back at the opponent.

Trivia[]
- Unlike most in-game models, Broly (Restraint) has proper shading to him whereas the rest have shiny textures.
- His Super Saiyan transformation is unique in that, while it consumes 300 Ki when transformed, it also dramatically increases maximum Ki, alters Broly's moveset slightly and permanently locks him into the form. Additionally, his transformation sequence mimics the same scene from the movie.
- Like his other Broly counterparts (and Kale), his Ki Blasts are a unique green color.
