Ginyu is the captain of his own Ginyu Force, a part of Frieza's Elite force that even Vegeta feared. Ginyu is the middle-tallest of his group, and has the ability to switch bodies with other living beings - near the end of the Frieza Saga, he accidentally switched bodies with a Namekian frog when he tried to switch bodies back with Goku.
