Cell Max is a powerful Raid Boss added in a free update in March of 2023. Cell Max is a Bio-Android and an improved variation of Cell created by Dr. Hedo for the revived Red Ribbon Army. His first and only appearance is in the movie, Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero. Much like the Great Apes, he is unavaliable to play as, even as a Crystal Raid Boss.

Training with Piccolo
Cell Max can be seen during the training section of obtaining the Beast transformation with Piccolo. He plays a key role in the mini side quest, him needed to defeat Orange Piccolo so that the player can trigger the Beast Awoken Skill for the first time, a recreation of when Gohan attained the form albeit the user’s CAC transforming instead.

Cell Max has had two online raids dedicated to him as a boss. His first was in March 23rd, 2023 and another on April 5th, 2023. The rewards featured in his raids included:
- Cell Max Suit (Hand Piece), Street Name "More" & 50 TP Medals - 5,000 Damage
- Cell Max Suit (Bottom Piece), Artwork 419 & 50 TP Medals - 15,000 Damage
- Cell Max Suit (Top Piece) & 50 TP Medals - 30,000 Damage
- Cell Max Suit (Shoes), Gotenks Super Soul "Damn... Gonna have to go all out!" & 50 TP Medals - 50,000 Damage
- Street Name "Avenger" & 50 TP Medals - 100,000 Damage
Additionally, the same set of clothing could also be obtained through the Gohan (Beast) Raid as well, which was held in May 11th, 2023, upon the release of DLC 16. His wig (which featured his head and tail) were obtainable through the Android 13 & Cooler Extra Raids.
