Evil Eyes is a Ki Blast Super Attack used by Lord Slug, Piccolo & Goku.
Properties[]
User sets off a remote explosion with their eyes at the opponent's location, or in the path of the flying opponent if used in combo, however it will deal more damage if used outside of combo in the former fashion. It is in some ways to Flash Strike, it deals the same damage but in the opposite way, the damage Flash Strike deals in combo is the damage Evil Eye deal to stationary enemy and vice versa. Evil Eyes's explosion is also slower to come out, but the move actually has less endlag overall.
For Piccolo (Power Awakening) only, he can immediately fire up to two more additional blasts after the first.
Usage Tips[]
This move basically ends up doing what Flash Strike does poorly, which is neutral pressure, and does worse what Flash Strike does well, which is decent damage after almost any combo. Its usage is thus rather situational and not very good against an aggresive opponent that will actually pursue you, but on occasion it can catch a vanish to protect you, and it does a good job at punishing distant stationary enemies without leaving you open like Flash Strike. Its subpar combo damage and lessened ability to land after knockbacks and other skills does make it less viable most of the time however.
Trivia[]
Although Goku never used the invisible eye blast in combat, he did use a Kiai with his eyes once in manga during Namek saga to dig Vegeta's grave after Frieza killed him.
