Beerus is the God of Destruction of Universe 7. He was introduced at the start of Dragon Ball Super, after single-fingeredly destroying a planet after he deemed it unworthy of his time. He would come to Earth with his mentor - and servant, Whis, to see if it was worth keeping around or not. In the end, he was won over with the food thanks to Bulma, but still often considers the option of destroying the planet.
