"Bring it on, Gohan!" ― Goku (UI) to Gohan (Beast)
Goku (Ultra Instinct) is the 16th DLC character to be added in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. This is Goku at his strongest, achieved during the Tournament of Power in Dragon Ball Super.
Through repeated usage of this powerful mental state, Goku manages to complete the form, giving him enough power to rival the Gods of Destruction and lead Universe 7 to standing a chance against Jiren.

Combos[]
- Light String (9L):
- Heavy String (5H): Ends with an airwave much like Gohan (Beast)'s LHH. Can be followed up with Sign of Awakening.

- Grab: Reaches foward, throws opponent in the air and vanishes behind them, arms to the side before kicking them away. Similar to Gogeta (Super Saiyan 4) and his Super counterpart.

Usage Tips[]
Ultra Instinct Goku can automatically dodge all strike attacks, grabs, and basic ki blasts, regardless if user is stationary or moving. However user is vulnerable during their own attacks and in a short window after their vanish. Additionally dodging attacks will consume user's stamina. Because of that, this type of auto dodge does not function when user is broken, similar to Hyper Armor.
The Super Soul 'Ultra Instinct!' is unique to this version of Goku. Once Goku's health is at half, the super soul activates, giving him a 20 second buff to all of his attacks and reduces the damage he takes by 20%. It also increases stamina and Ki regeneration, and speed. His Limit Burst gives an attack boost and auto Ki recovery.
While all of this does give Ultra Instinct Goku a lot of power at half health, he does not have a lot of health in the first place, and relying too much on his auto dodge will leave you in a dangerous position.
His Super Soul and attacks are relatively the same in presets 1 & 2 with the exception of Kamehameha being replaced with Divine Kamehameha in preset 2. Preset 3 swaps out three of his moves: Soaring Fist is replaced with Spirit Pulse, Super Kamehameha for Sign Of Awakening and Instant Rise for Celestial Wave.
Trivia[]
- UI Goku's unique interaction with Gohan (Beast) has his voice echo much different than his default voice filter.
- In the free update for the Conton City Vote DLC, UI Goku was given a third preset with a lot of his older moves replaced with moves from UI sign's skill set.
