"Buu...now that me and you are one again, no one can stop us!" ― Character Select
Majuub is the 25th DLC character to be added in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. He was added on December 12th, 2019 alongside Android 21 as part of the Ultra Pack 2 DLC. He is the pure good reincarnation of Majin Buu who debuted at the end of Dragon Ball Z.
This variant is from Dragon Ball GT after becoming Goku's student and had permanently fused with Good Buu.
He can be found in the Tournament Arena of Conton City, where mentor Hit is located and the place where the Supreme Kai of Time event is held.

Combos[]
- Light String (9L): Involves a series of punches, two kicks and a final hard punch that knocks the opponent back.
- Heavy String (5H): A punch, several kicks and a flip, then flies back from the opponent, hitting them head on (literally), then a heel kick that knocks them directly into the ground.
- LHH: A punch, a kick, and a hard punch that sends the opponent flying backwards.
- Alternating String (HLHLH): Starts off similar to LHH, alters upon the third hit, the fourth a notable stun which allows for a break or use of an attack. On the last hit, the opponent is flung away with a powerful head blow.
- 5L3H: Starts off on the ground, then sends the opponent into the air by it's 6th hit and ends with a sledgehammer.
- Grab: Grabs the opponent by their legs, spins them around before vanishing, then hits them down with a sledgehammer.
- Light Break: Cocks right fist back and hits square in the middle.
- Heavy Break: Hits with a rotating heel kick.
Usage Tips[]
Majuub leans heavily into being Strike-based user, as evident in his high stats in both Strike & Basic Attack attributes. While his first preset feature mainly Ki-Blast related moves, his second preset accommodates for that, despite being slightly weaker in the Strike Attack category. Regardless, his moves in his second preset has better synergy with his combos, as well as being able to combo well into each other. (Angry Hit ---> Super Dragon Fist ---> Super God Fist for example.)
Despite having moves reused from other characters as part of his second preset, there are notable differences about them unique to only Majuub.
Angry Hit doesn't knock the opponent down, instead, it freezes the opponent in place for a setup for any of the following: a Super Attack, Grab or can be used as a combo reset. It also has better range than the original, being able to teleport directly to the opponent.
Super Dragon Fist, while not much changes about the move itself, does allow for Majuub to follow up with a warp version of Super God Fist immediately after landing.
Innocence Breath is a lot faster to land and has a stun property at the start which prevents the opponent from escaping if hit. Angry Hit can also be used after the blast has been fired. Another thing to note is that Majuub faces forward with his fist clenched at the end, rather than doing the typical goofy pose done by other users of this move.
Brutal Buster is arguably one of the most damaging (and dangerous) evasives in the game, especially when critically low on health. If the opponent is within the radius of the shockwave while Majuub's health is flashing red, it will break the opponents stamina when the move is fully charged.
Gift[]
Giving Majuub his gift from the Medal Shop will unlock his second playable preset, "Kid Outfit", which takes the look of Uub in his village clothes from the End of Z Tournament. It also unlocks the secret ending to Dragon Ball: Xenoverse 2, granting the player two new options in which leads into said ending. You must first clear the "Let's spar" option in which you face off against Uub in his Kid Outfit and then Goku in his Final DBZ Gi. Once completed, you'll be given another option that says "I want to have a serious match" in which you must fight against both Uub and Goku at the same time.
The difficulty is amped up significantly this time around and capsules are also unavaliable to use so it is advised that you use a build that can fight off against them. A key strategy to winning is focusing on one of them first. If you succeed/clear victory, you will be rewarded with a full set of Goku's Final DBZ Gi outfit. Cutscenes will be played in honor of the Time Patroller's success. Upon first completion, a message will display on screen, thanking you for playing the game. These options are still avaliable to go through as much as you want.
Upon giving Uub his gift a second time, you'll be given a random piece of his outfit (Preset 1 Outfit) encoated in Gold. This process can be repeated like many other gifts in the game (except Crystal Raid Boss gifts, where you are instead given 10 Demon Realm Crystals rather than a piece of clothing).
Trivia[]
- Majuub's Kid Outfit skills are slight reworked versions of the originals. His Energy Charge charges Ki faster in comparison, hitting the button down twice refills a bar quickly whereas holding it down is a smidge slower. His Super God Fist can warp to the opponent immediately after using Super Dragon Fist, his Angry Hit has more range and teleports directly to the opponent and his Innocence Breath is quicker to land. The ending pose of said Ultimate is altered as well.
- Towa and Majuub, despite not being Mentors, have gifts that unlock a second preset.
- In the secret ending for Dragon Ball: Xenoverse 2, it was originally intended to be the final update to the game. But due to the game's continued success, this decision was rectified with the release of DLC 11: Legendary Pack 1, released a year and 3 months later; the longest time the game has went without a DLC release.
