"So this is my power..." ― Character Select
Piccolo (Power Awakening) is the 40th DLC character added to Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. He is the second playable version of Piccolo and was released on May 11th, 2023 alongside Gohan (Beast) and his Orange counterpart, as part of the paid update for the Hero Of Justice Pack 2 DLC.
This version of Piccolo is when he had his potential awakened by Shenron in the movie, Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero. He uses this form to fight Gamma 2 with but ultimately loses to him in the end, needing the "bit extra" gifted to him by Shenron to turn the tides on the misled Android dramatically...

Usage Tips[]
Piccolo (PA)'s Super Soul, "I'm a whole new me." activates Ki-Auto Recovery mode and boosts Stamina recovery speed by 10% but only once. So while his Super Soul does put him down, what he has to feature more than makes up for it.
Piccolo (PA)'s combos are relatively quick and smooth and allows easy follow up for any of his moves that have the range to land. He can also perform and incorporate stamina breaks into his combos much more easily than his Orange counterpart.
Evil Eyes has a unique addition for this variant of Piccolo. You can fire out two more additional blasts immediately after for an additional Ki bar, which can be useful during long knockback combos or when needing to hit an enemy from afar.
Special Beam Cannon (Super) can land after a long knockback, a reverse burst dash or any of his heavy knockback/knockdown combos like HLHLH or 5L3H. It also does quite a bit of damage for a one-bar Super.
Evil Explosion (Ultimate) has limited range and requires his inital kick to land in order for the rest of his move to play out, but once it does, it leaves the opponent to either let the move play out or be pressured into using an Evasive/Limit Burst. Like Special Beam Cannon, it can land after any of his knockback/knockdown combos so long as he's within range of the opponent. Best used for finishers.
Light Grenade works similarly to Big Bang Attack in that if the opponent gets too close to the blast while it's being charged, they will get sucked in and launched away. It comes out fast, which can catch the opponent offguard and forced to tank the move should you choose to use this move during the middle of your current combo. Because it comes out fast, the tradeoff for this move is it's damage.
Evil Flight Strike functions the same as its Super counterpart, only dealing less damage.
