Parallel Quests[]
Story Mode[]
Gogeta Blue briefly appears in the Story Mode, engaging in his fight with Broly (FPSS). After knocking the brute down on the ground, he spots Fu and tells him to leave before the latter activates his Remote Serious Bomb, and launches it towards the fusion. Gogeta "deflects" it, before it's quickly shown that his power has been sealed away, thus reverting out of his Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan state as a result. The fusion is then forced to fight in his base against Broly, with the main canon diverting drastically from this point on.
Combos[]
- Light String (9L): Involves a series of punches and kicks, with the last hit knocking back the opponent.
- Heavy String (5L): Aggressive, quick hits that ends with a Sledgehammer.
- LHH: A punch and a spinning kick that sends the opponent right down. Last hit can be cancelled into Super Mad Dance.
- 5L3H: Starts off with the light string combo before it ends with a barrage of Ki Blasts.
- Alternating String (HLHLH): 4th hit is a backhit, then ends with a kick. Can follow up with Spirit Blaster, God Punisher or as a Custom Partner, Galick Gun, Focus Flash or Comet Strike and such. The backhit can be cancelled with an immediate reverse Soul Punisher, or tilting the control stick up and inputting a command.
- Grab: Kicks opponent in the air. Is continuable and can follow up with other attacks.
- Light Break: Lifts arm up and delivers an uppercut.
- Heavy Break: Cuffs fists together and slams the opponent down.
- Backhit: Swiftly kicks opponent with right leg.
Usage Tips[]
Festival of Universes[]
To unlock Gogeta's festival preset, first you must find him in the Universe Lobby (6, 7 or 11). Talking to him will unlock his Camaraderie bar, which works similarly to the Mentor-Friendship bar. There are a variety of ways to increase the bar. To name a few, you can talk to him which will open up different dialogs depending if the RNG is in your favor, Parallel Quests, which is the fastest method of increasing his Camaraderie (recommendations include Parallel Quests 3, 23 and 83), Online Raid Quests or PvP. Depending on how much Glory Points you score during the Festival Of Universes events will also contribute to filling up the Camaraderie bar as well.
At max three stars, it will require you to talk to him, in which, he will reward you 1 Demon Realm Crystal and 1 Super Mix Capsule Z. Once his camaraderie bar has been maxed out, he will give you a shirt with an image of him slapped onto it as well as the option to fight him 1-on-1. Upon success, Preset 3 will be unlocked for you to use. Additionally, God Punisher (Festival) can also be equipped in his Customize Partner preset.
Trivia[]
- Gogeta can absorb his Super Kamehameha. Press the same input twice to activiate his powered up state when attempting to use his version of Super Kamehameha.
- Despite never meeting in the story mode or canon, Gogeta Blue has unique dialogue with Fused Zamasu.
