Savage Strike is a Strike Super Attack used by SSGSS Vegito.
Properties[]
The attack appears similar to Super God Fist, though it's blue in color and lacks locked cinematic view. Compared to Super God Fist, it comes out way slower, but lunges a considerable distance forward. If used after a knockback, user will teleport to the opponent before doing the attack itself, similarily to Rocket Tackle. If the skill is double pressed, user will instead teleport above the opponent and deliver a downward punch which can cause a Hard Knockdown. The alternative version lacks grab properties of the usual one, making it less reliable. The time it takes to hit also allows enemy to vanish this version.
Usage Tips[]
This skill works very well as a decently damaging followup to a lot of knockbacks. The secondary version can be combo'd into in a similar way, and its hard knockdown provides an opportunity for another followup, but in exchange it is less reliable. Considerable startup and linear path generally make it unsuitable to use it in neutral. Its ability to track opponents knocked away by allies makes the secondary input decent to use in team battles, as it bypasses the vanishing weakness, and allows allies to follow up with nearly anything.
