Turn Golden is an Awoken Skill exclusive to Frieza Race CaCs. The form is also utilized by its creator, Frieza, as a seperate slot character, but being a pre-transformed character, Frieza doesn't share any of the properties with Golden Frieza CaCs.

Properties

Turn Golden is a single stage transformation. In terms of stats, it provides +20% speed and +30% Ki Blast damage, being the second highest damage modifier out of all transformations, second to Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan (Evolved), with a +35% in all damage. Their basic Ki Blasts are also changed, regular blasts are faster, more damaging and appear as more concentrated purple blasts rather than yellow orbs, while their charged Ki Blasts turn into a quick acting beam with decent damage. Regardless of their default or super soul based Blasts, they always behave the same upon transformation, effects that require a charged blast to hit will still work, but effects that require specific ki blast type, like "Gotcha!", will not, so in this case they will not gain paralysis effect.

Visually, the user's body parts change color in accordance to Freeza's appearance with it, hard bio armor parts turn to gold color, the gems turn purple and their eyes turn red. They also get a yellow aura with black particles, and body shine effect. They also gain a new idle animation, doing Freeza's iconic pose, though if left stationary for a moment, they'll alterate to their regular position.

Usage Tips

There are no drawbacks to using the form, and so it's beneficial to transform as soon as you can. The transformation is similar to Super Saiyan, where it's relatively quick, but still more safe to do after a throw or a knockback. The strengthened Ki Blasts are very good asset, usable as a surprise in neutral or a followup, and generate a lot of Ki on hit. The large Ki Blast bonus can greatly strengthen their punishes, though the lack of break confirms or a reliable hard knockdown on the race hinders this ability somewhat. As an alternative strategy, you can use several of the super souls that boost charged Ki Blasts in various ways, for example "I am the universe's strongest!" which strengthens charged Ki blasts by 5% every time they hit up to ten times.
